Elections 2020: President Trump Will Lose!

As the elections creep upon us, many people are weighing up two candidates: the infamous and wild Donald Trump and the low tension, sleepy looking Joe Biden. Which two will be the winner... My view is that it's going to be a 50/50 match as Facebook has increased its awareness of fake news and is trying to eliminate it, and the Coronavirus response in America has been disastrous. As more countries soften their lock down rules as their numbers decrease, America is at a stage where it should be tightening it but due to economic reasons, also has to soften it. Navigating this tricky road will take a skillful tactician which I'm afraid is not what Donald Trump's strong point it. Furthermore, renewable companies are gaining power which could help swing the votes to a certain direction. No more is the oil money running deep. This election will certainly be close and my thinking, hope and desire is that Joe Biden wins. I personally like him as a man of integrity. A balanced charact...

After the Corona...

This will be part 2 of a series of Post-Coronavirus economy. As I talk to students who are business men, ladies and educators, it becomes more and more apparent that we are all in the same boat. The virus has taken a grip of our country, everyone is in panic mode and sales and new customers are dramatically decreased. So many companies are at a loss of what to do. Successful companies seem to be the companies that specialise in stay-at-home products like video games, video chat, food and essentials. Things like sports clubs, jukus, education facilities are struggling and travel based industries are hit the hardest. Everywhere, small to medium sized businesses are bleeding. As the Coronavirus finishes, people will still have that fear in their minds and hearts and it'll take a while to finally, fully relax. People will also be strapped for cash so expensive programs wouldn't be as attractive as value for money products. Finally, international travel and business trips will be dr...

Cloud Tokyo Day

Rust, a new amazing programming language, has been dropping in popularity, a recent online news article has stated. This seems to come due to the learning curve, lack of libraries and lack of support from companies. This I feel is a huge shame as rust supports new era technology right out of the box! the speed gains and refinements is superb and I would personally love to use it. My image is that it supports multithreaded application design from the get go and take advantage of modern CPUs multicore and hetrogenius systems.  I would personally like to see rust and golang used more and gain more popularity. I respect those language, even though I personally have no use for them, and would like to see them grow. Another exciting news is SpaceX is preping it's human rocket called the dragon capsule and it'll launch any day now... How great is that!! a private company will start offering rides to governments and hopefully citizens into space. Eventually, I hope they can take pe...

COIV-19 Thoughts

When will this virus end? it's lasting for so long. Anyway, I am thinking of getting a new bank loan as rates are super cheap. I want SSA to continue safely. If I do get it, most likely I will shore up 6 months of rent and personal expenses. Furthermore, if it does finish quicker than expected, I would like to reinvest the money into overseas homestay programs and online programs.

2020 Internet Futures

2020 is shaping up to be an interesting year. With the Coronavirus in full swing, people are increasing working from home and thus, the internet and its infrastructure is becoming a lifeline for many people and businesses. However, I do not believe that everyone will change the way they use the internet. Sites like Youtube and Netflix will absolutely become popular but people like people. As the virus subsides, there will be many gaps in the industry and it'll be ripe for new ideas and startups that can help people be people move up. I think developing projects that help people enhance their life and document their life will increasingly take off, as will AR, VR, AI and Machine learning products. The reason I believe this is because people like change! They love change. People want something new and exciting. To be different yet not strange. To have something stylish and fun, but also helpful. If you make a new site, the chances of it becoming popular is just as high now, as ...

weekend in Nagano

Image
Weekend in Nagano Welcome back everyone, Last weekend, I went to Nagano. It was a beautiful weekend with sunny weather and rolling mountains. I went there with my 3 kids, wife and mother and father in law. It was a jam packed car but we enjoyed the trip nevertheless. Going to Nagano, I drove mostly but on the windy mountain roads, my wife drove. It was scarrrry (just joking). Here is the evidence: The scenery was beautiful and the mountains looked really impressive with their blue misty look.    On the way, I stopped at 1 service station and managed to find some monkeys:   But, the service area was relatively quiet and we could enjoy the wonderful weather and beautiful flowers. We had lot's fun fun in the service area. The hotel was really nice as well. Sponsored (may bought), by the Mitaka government. The prices were cheap and the service and quality was high. It was also mostly empty so we could be as loud as we wanted - and my sons were...
