Weekend in Nagano Welcome back everyone, Last weekend, I went to Nagano. It was a beautiful weekend with sunny weather and rolling mountains. I went there with my 3 kids, wife and mother and father in law. It was a jam packed car but we enjoyed the trip nevertheless. Going to Nagano, I drove mostly but on the windy mountain roads, my wife drove. It was scarrrry (just joking). Here is the evidence: The scenery was beautiful and the mountains looked really impressive with their blue misty look.    On the way, I stopped at 1 service station and managed to find some monkeys:   But, the service area was relatively quiet and we could enjoy the wonderful weather and beautiful flowers. We had lot's fun fun in the service area. The hotel was really nice as well. Sponsored (may bought), by the Mitaka government. The prices were cheap and the service and quality was high. Random Ramblings "Practice what you preach" Anon My dream is the be well off, and if possible, rich. That's why I was interested to start my own English school and also build up my IT skills simultaneously. Now, after 3 years into this business, I've kind of gave up in the idea that partnerships can work and am interested to move on. I hope I can still get this franchise business going but I don't expect big rewards and would like to break through now in another area.  Anyway, I found this youtube clip on and found it very very funny. It was a nice hot spring in the mountains and nearby, there was a beautiful waterfall. I have to work this week. Not so fun but I have 2 major projects to wrap up this week. Also, we have a great new staff member. I hope things turn out well. Thinking how to bring in more money. My thoughts are bring me to 2 options: start my own school (owned and operated by me), start an online business or just contrate on learning Japanese. Lets try try try.

My mother in law came to help, so I could take my kids to the elementary service, she took them to the language school, next was the toddler service and finally the adult service. Despite not knowing Japanese, I attended the Japanese service with the hope of becoming fluent in Japanese by just listening to it ^^ 頑張ります！ Lunch at church - my sons can't be normal Lunch at church with family and friends After the church, we went to a local city office as they were handing out those Japanese beetles (in larva form), so we picked some up. But I ended up staying in the park with my daughter: My daughter loves flowers... picking them :( Next stop was my father in laws company she my mother in law could pick up her bags quickly (she took ages), next was my home so my sons could pick up their bags and finally I br...

Shine carrying, flower festival! My middle son and younger daughter had a festival at their local day care center. It's name is Fujinomi Day care center, Fuji is the name of the flower tree that grows there and they have a big fuji tree in the center of it's garden. Anyway, at first, they marched around the local area shouting and chanting, then they returned, played some drums and ate a meal. My son got angry though and spent some time sulking in the corner, but after a long discussion and negotiation (and a short trip back home), he finally settled down and ate properly. Wow, kids are hard! I tell you what. News Update The biggest event this year has been my 1st son starting elementary school.
