Mindset of the young

On Saturday, I spent the day with my sons and brought them to my regular church. After, we went to a restaurant which had a nice drink bar (they almost milked the thing dry), and moved onto my workplace as I had work to do.

I brought some sweets along the way for my sons, as they were complaining, but nothing too unhealthy of course. When I got to my school I own, we went shopping. My youngest son wanted me to buy something but I said no. He then goes onto to negotiate further:

"Since you never brought [that item], you have to buy me some sweets now!"

I was personally impressed by the tenacity of this little fellow and I definitely have a heightened respect for him. But, he never got any more sweets or the item. No is no for me.

They went onto study English and play UNO. They were good little fellows - good job.
